Our Methodology
Critical engagement is our main theme running through all our training courses. Our finance courses are based on our own “Global Financial Positioning model” (GFPS) whereby live financial and current market events data is used allowing participants to engage, reflect and interact with current market behaviour. This enforces the learning experience, bringing academic material and markets together.

Our People

Kris De Clercq
Kris De Clercq, MBA, Owner and Lecturer
Kris has lectured finance to managers for more than 25 years in Europe and Eastern Europe. He teaches for a UK and Austrian based business school as an associate lecturer in finance topics such as “Issues in International Finance and Investments”, “Corporate Finance” and “Issues in IFRS”. His industry experience is over 30 years working for asset managers, investment banks, global custodians in the UK, Luxembourg and Belgium. He received a university award for innovation in finance teaching and learning.
Dr. Johannes Hofinger
Dr. Johannes Hofinger, MBA, FRM, Partner & Lecturer
Johannes Hofinger is specialised in Risk Management, Basel III, IFRS and regulatory reporting. His professional skills are reinforced by strong academic roots. He lectures for global business schools in corporate finance, managerial accounting and financial reporting.
Dr. Patrik Buchmueller
Dr. Patrik Buchmueller, Partner & Lecturer
Dr. Patrik Buchmueller has more than 20 years experience as regulator and risk manager in the financial sector. He has worked for German Banking Supervisor BaFin and for various public and private banks in Germany. Since 2018 he acts as consultant for central banks and international banks. He also lectures at university level in risk management & economics and has published several books on risk management.
Dr. Nico Binsfeld
Dr. Nico Binsfeld, MBA, Partner & Lecturer
Dr. Nico Binsfeld holds a Doctor of Business Administration, a Master of Science in Engineering and an MBA. He has over 30 years of experience in engineering and management positions in media, telecommunications and IT. He currently works as consultant and has over 12 years of experience as an Associate Lecturer on the MBA programme of a triple accredited global business school.
Bruno Bosch
Bruno Bosch, MBA, Partner & Lecturer
Bruno Bosch has over 25 years of experience in international financial management. He has held a number of CFO positions in US and Belgian based companies. He has large experience with M&A, international financial reporting, financing, private equity, financial engineering and international tax planning. He is also author and co-author of several books on company valuation, investments and tax management.
Maureen Whitehead-Lausman
Maureen Whitehead-Lausman, MBA, Partner & Lecturer
19 years associate lecturer in General Management, Financial Strategy and Corporate Strategy for a triple accredited global business school. 20 years’ experience developing and delivering training programs. Qualified coach and mediator, certified to deliver MBTI instrument and 360 degree feedback.
Kris Blommaert
Kris Blommaert, MBA, Partner & Lecturer
Kris Blommaert has over 20 years of international experience in both finance and general management. He has been an associate lecturer at a triple accredited global business school for 10 years at MBA level.
Joris Kersten
Joris Kersten, MSc, BSc, RAB, Partner & Lecturer
J.J.P. (Joris) Kersten performs business valuations, prepares pitch books, organises financing for takeovers and negotiates M&A transactions. He provides training in Corporate Finance/Financial Modelling at leading investment banks in New York, London and Hong Kong. He also lectures at leading Universities like Nyenrode, TIAS Business School and the Luxembourg School of Business.
